Through our 24 hour emergency number,
we can be reached whenever an emergency happens. Once McFarland
Fire & Storm is on site we will begin the task of securing
the property from further damage. We will assess the need
for board-up, framing support and tarp. With the Work Authorization
from the property owner we immediately secure the property.
As soon as it is mutually convenient, we will meet with the
property owner on site to begin preparing a comprehensive
scope of work. We will review and document all of the work
needed to return the property to its fully functional state.
We work with the owner and the insurance adjustor to ensure
that the owner receives the most complete coverage available
under their policy terms. Our third party estimating system
uses industry standard information. In most cases this can
speed up the approval time from the adjustor. When we are
chosen to do the restoration, the final cost is established
with the adjustor and property owner.
There are times when work needs to be started prior to the
completion of the scope of work estimation. We work with the
owner and adjustor to get approval for work, so there is no
further damage or loss from a delay in starting.
Since we are a General Contractor we are the only one they
need to call. We schedule and oversee every aspect of the
restoration, from the board-up to the final Certificate of
Completion. Once we have the authorization on the scope of
work, we begin scheduling sub contractors and ordering materials.
We schedule all municipal inspections.
We remain in close communication with the property owner to
complete necessary selections and keep them aware of the progress.
Our new construction Sales Centers provide a one-stop selection
location. They can choose cabinets, counter tops, flooring,
trim and more.
Once the work begins, we are on the job until it is completed.
When the restoration is complete we have you sign a Certificate
of Completion. This authorizes final payments and activates
the McFarland Fire & Storm warranty.
